I began writing novels in 1995, after testing the waters for five years with short stories.
My first novel was never finished and never will be. It was a futuristic noir detective story set in Seattle, having to do with murders of homeless men, wormholes, and alien beings. In short, it didn’t know what it wanted to be and I was absolutely no help. I wrote about half of it before I realized it was a mutation that would never breathe on its own, so I put it down, figuratively and literally.
